Overview
PM Group are looking for a Safety Manager to work on a Pharma Labs and Offices retro fit project. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland.
Responsibilities
1. Establish and implement comprehensive safety programs for pharma laboratory and office retrofit construction activities
2. Ensure adherence to safety standards, pharma industry safety requirements, and client-specific safety protocols
3. Conduct detailed safety assessments including contamination control and chemical exposure risks
4. Investigate safety incidents, near-misses, and regulatory violations; implement corrective actions and preventive measures
5. Perform regular safety inspections, document findings, and ensure compliance with safety plans and regulatory requirements
6. Maintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, training documentation, and regulatory compliance files
Qualifications
7. Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Safety, Construction, Engineering, or related field
8. Minimum 8-10 years safety management experience with 3+ years in pharma, chemical, or regulated industry construction
9. Thorough understanding of relevant standards, pharmaceutical safety protocols, and construction safety in operational facilities
10. Proven experience developing and implementing safety programs for complex construction projects
