Quant Modeler - Withholding Tax vacancy for a Switzerland based client in the financial services sector.
Your tasks:
* Validating models developed for compliance with US withholding tax regulations
* Determining in-scope status of equity-linked instruments
* Analyzing financial instruments with US underlying securities
* Providing insights on withholding tax implications
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams for model implementation
Your experience/knowledge:
* Experience in financial modeling and analysis
* Strong understanding of US tax regulations, specifically section 871(m) of the Internal Revenue Code.
* Mathematical modelling and product expertise for Equity derivatives (i.e., Greeks) is required.
* Knowledge of equity-linked instruments and their taxation
* Relevant academic background in finance or related fields
* Language skills: English
