About the Role
As an Deployment Consultant at valuemize, you’ll work at the intersection of product, customer, and technology - translating complex manufacturing processes into scalable, intelligent software solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Co-Founder Hannes, who brings over 6 years of experience in engineering and product leadership - from leading cross‑functional teams at ABB/Accelleron to driving €80M in cost savings at a private equity portfolio company.
This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in customer‑facing technical environments — combining deep process understanding with product intuition. You’ll help shape a category‑defining AI SaaS product that is transforming how industrial companies make cost, design, and sustainability decisions.
What You’ll Do
* Serve as the central customer expert, from requirements analysis through onboarding to successful implementation
* Quickly understand customer processes, data flows, and IT landscapes (especially ERP systems like SAP)
* Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable product configurations and workflows
* Lead customer onboarding sessions, guide training, and document success stories
* Act as the interface between customers, product, and software engineering – prepare, prioritize, and communicate customer feedback into actionable insights
* Function as an internal Product Owner for customer‑facing features: manage and prioritize backlog items, identify recurring patterns, and contribute to the product roadmap
* 3+ years of professional experience in Consulting, Product Costing, or Controlling, ideally within industrial manufacturing
* Experience with SAP FI/CO (especially Product Costing / CO‑PC) or similar ERP modules
* Strong understanding of product cost calculation, BoM costing, and R&D or manufacturing controlling processes
* Confident, structured, and proactive communicator, comfortable presenting to C‑level and technical stakeholders alike
* Fluent in German and English (both required)
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance & Controlling, Industrial Engineering or similar.
