As the Site Controller Dübendorf Flavours, you provide appropriate financial support to the Operations Manager for their performance management, budget management, and internal controls. Moreover, you will assist the Regional Head of Controlling and Pricing to issue all needed reports and analysis for Regional and General Management.
In this role you will:
Business Support: Assist the site management in developing and analysing business plans, forecasts, cost‑saving opportunities, etc. Support the management in strategic decision‑making during month‑end financial close and in special projects.
Planning and Forecasting: Perform ad‑hoc and proactive analysis of monthly KPIs and provide interpretable and predictive information for decision‑making. Analyse financial information for multiple functional management and partners (Group Controlling, Division Controlling, Operations Controlling, Functional Controlling). Review site cost analysis, identify variances versus budget, last year and outlook, and recommend corrective actions. Participate in forecasting and mid‑to‑long‑term planning for the factory.
Budget Cycle and Costing: Manage annual and periodic costing activities and analyse COGS. Provide detailed product costing analysis and support management in product cost evaluation. Coordinate the annual budget process for the site.
Business Partnering: Work with site engineers, local management, regional controllers and local finance from the stage of evaluating capital proposals until value realization. Contribute as an active member in site projects that create process and cost improvements (e.g., Supply Chain, LEAN, BIT). Participate in site operations meetings and provide finance support/action where required.
Your professional profile includes
Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a similar controlling qualification
4–5 years’ experience controlling in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of costing processes
Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
Strong financial background (budgeting process, reporting, financial analysis, controlling, accounting)
Ability to integrate in complex teams within a matrix organization
SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of MS Access and Power BI is an advantage
