Job Description
* Design packaging molds (pilot & production) ensuring optimal steel dimensions and cycle times
* Lead core projects focused on mold performance, cost efficiency, and technical innovation
* Convince internal experts and stakeholders on design choices through technical justification
* Prepare detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation
* Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
* Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in mold design
The Successful Applicant
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Design
* 5+ years of experience in mold design for packaging or similar industries
* Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
* Strong understanding of mold construction and manufacturing processes
* Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical experts
* Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
