As a Field Sales Account Manager, you are responsible for developing and expanding revenue across Western Switzerland. You independently manage and grow your sales territory, build sustainable customer relationships, and actively identify new business opportunities across the entire BUCHI product portfolio.This position is a highly autonomous field sales role for a sales-driven personality who enjoys working closely with customers and achieving measurable results.

What You Will Do
2. Responsibility for revenue generation and achieving targets within your assigned sales territory
3. Identification and development of new customer opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
4. Management of a diverse customer portfolio, including clients from the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and cosmetics industries, quality control (QC) laboratories, universities, and research institutes
5. Planning and conducting customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
6. Managing the entire sales process from lead generation through to closing
7. Building and maintaining an active sales pipeline through targeted prospecting and lead follow-up
8. Close collaboration with Service Engineers, Product Management, and Sales colleagues
9. Ensuring high customer satisfaction and building long-term partnerships
10. Maintaining and updating all activities in the CRM system (Salesforce)
11. Monitoring market and competitor developments and sharing relevant insights internally
What You Bring
12. Experience in field sales, account management, or business development, ideally in a technical or scientific environment
13. Strong sales capabilities and a proven track record of achieving targets
14. Excellent communication and presentation skills
15. Independent and structured way of working with effective territory management skills
16. Customer-oriented mindset and the ability to build long-term relationships
17. Fluent in French and German
18. Willingness to travel extensively within the region
19. Experience in laboratory technology, instrumentation, or related technical industries, or an educational background in chemistry, food technology, life sciences, or a comparable field
