One our clients is seeking an experienced Accountant,
Full-time permanent position
Will be required to be onsite in Nafels, Switzerland
This client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join the Corporate Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and contributing to data-driven decision-making across the business.
Main responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting, including journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliations
1. Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely invoicing and payments
2. Handle VAT, payroll taxes, and other regulatory filings
3. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
4. Prepare and analyse financial reports, KPIs, and variances
5. Monitor costs, support budgeting and forecasting activities
6. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on financial matters
7. Contribute to process improvements and finance system enhancements
Skills and requirements:
1. Diploma in Finance & Accounting (e.g., Swiss Federal Diploma or equivalent HF qualification)
2. 3–5 years of accounting experience in Switzerland
3. Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills
5. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems
6. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
