Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to drive business development and manage key accounts within the peptide CDMO sector. This role involves identifying new customer opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, proven sales success in the pharmaceutical industry, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities Prospect and develop new customers from sources such as databases, publications, market analysis, trade shows, and contact lists.
Achieve revenue targets and business development goals.
Manage key accounts
Assist potential customers in determining compatibility between their requirements and APis products/services.
Prepare and submit proposals and negotiate sales contracts.
Establish and maintain marketing information on all peptides in preclinical and clinical development within specific customers/territories.
On-site customer visits, attending selected trade shows, organizing and conducting customer visits during trade shows.
Coordinate and support customer visits to APi facilities.
Capture customer information into APi's customer database.
Collaborate with Operations and Project Managers to deliver products and services in a timely manner to meet customer needs.
Support strategic customer target initiatives
Collaborate collegially as part of a team and provide support to other team members
Qualifications MSc degree in science, ideally chemistry, biology, pharmacy
Minimum 5 years of experience in CMO/CDMO sales for either API or Drug Product, or minimum of 3 years in Peptide CDMO sales, with a successful track record of Sales growth. Previous experience with peptide chemistry or sales a plus.
Good understanding of drug development process from clinical to commercial phase.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, written and verbal. Any other language is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills. Team player, self-motivated, customer focused, strong intercultural skills
Must be able to navigate within your home office setting with ease.
Must be able to travel for conferences, tradeshows, client visits, and APi meetings.
