Job Responsibilities:
* Ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions in accounts payables.
* Analyze AP related issues, such as incorrect invoicing and supplier data, and resolve them independently using established procedures.
* Fulfill company obligations to third parties and employees according to established guidelines.
* Provide regular analyses and reports to the AP Team Lead/Supervisor and internal customers on request.
* Maintain close working relationships with internal customers to meet their needs.
* Contribute to improving vendor relationships with internal customers.
* Address internal customer queries regarding A/P topics and ensure follow-up is handled correctly.
* Reinforce purchase order procedures to internal customers.
* Continuously challenge and refine work methods to meet team demands and improve efficiency.
* Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to promote continuous improvement.
* Resolve exception handling regarding AP issues, including contacting vendors.
* Support internal and external audits to ensure internal control and regulatory requirements are met.
* Participate in assigned projects when necessary.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in an accounts payable process and some familiarity with Shared Service environments.
* Understanding of Purchase to Pay processes is beneficial. Practical experience with ERP and PC-based computer systems is required.
* Creation of Key Performance Indicators is desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a proven track record of success on high-performing teams.
* Demonstrated analytical skills to solve day-to-day problems.
* Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Independent worker who can manage workload and meet deadlines.
* Awareness of mutual dependencies between processes, people, and organizational units.
* Adaptability in a changing environment.
* Constructive thinker focused on improving daily work processes.
* Capability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
