Product Management Role
Synopsis
We are seeking a seasoned product manager to oversee the life cycle of our fire control panels, ensuring their market-derived pricing, profitability, and demand planning align with European norms and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Active management of fire control panels life cycle, including market-derived pricing, profitability, and demand planning
* Initiating actions to continuously improve portfolio metrics to strengthen market position
* Planning and conducting market launch as well as phase-outs in close collaboration with sales colleagues
* Analyzing markets, competitors, and technology trends and incorporating findings into proposals for upper management
* Defining, prioritizing, and validating requirements for product enhancements together with R&D and product management colleagues and customers
* Monitoring business figures and actively handling deviations to achieve product performance and growth
* Coordinating activities with external partners and manufacturers together with purchasing colleagues
Requirements
* University degree or higher education in engineering, business engineering, or equivalent qualification
* Ideal 5 years of product management experience, preferably within a B2B environment, or technical project manager with a solid track record
* Experience within the Fire Safety industry or related building management systems/services
* Solid understanding of business economics and/or financials paired with long-term strategic attitude
* Experience in lean/agile development (e.g. SAFe) is a plus
* Resilient in challenging situations, with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team-player, and able to build trust with internal and external partners
