Join MSF OCG as a Flying Nurse Trainer! We are looking for passionate candidates ready to contribute to our humanitarian mission. This is a field-based position with visits to the headquarters in Geneva.

Responsibilities
* Preparation and implementation of medical training: participate in identifying training needs, develop and adapt training content using various pedagogical methods, create and revise training materials, facilitate in-person or remote training sessions, collaborate with the medical department and the Learning & Development team, and strengthen the skills of medical and paramedical staff through team-based or individualized support (including bedside teaching and simulation).
* Provide training and support to healthcare providers in developing facilitation and clinical mentoring skills, including assistance in onboarding or knowledge-refresh phases.
* Develop assessments to evaluate skill acquisition and practical competencies for medical and paramedical staff; provide mentoring and coaching as needed (before, during, after) in the workplace or remotely.
* Follow-up of field training: structure and monitor training activities, write training reports, propose targeted recommendations, and support change; evaluate the quality of monitoring through post-training assessments and follow-up strategies.
* Background tasks: contribute to knowledge transfer systems, participate in the creation and development of training materials and tools, and reflect on the training offer to improve alignment with field needs.
Your profile
Education & Experience
* Registered nurse with specialization or proven experience in pediatrics, neonatology, and/or care of malnourished children.
* Training or experience in pedagogy/adult education.
* Experience working with newborns in maternity settings; experience in neonatology and pediatrics.
* At least 3 years of experience in MSF projects involving neonatal, pediatric, and nutritional components.
Languages
* Professional proficiency in French and English;
* Arabic is a strong asset.
Personal Abilities & Skills
* Solid knowledge of guidelines and treatments in newborn care, nutrition, pediatrics, IPC, and nursing care.
* Knowledge of MSF operations and programs is an asset.
* Strong teamwork, teaching and facilitation abilities, excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Autonomy, initiative, diplomacy, open-mindedness, and a supportive attitude.
* Creativity and excellent writing skills.
Terms of employment
* Fixed-term contract, 11 months
* Part-time, 50-80% (20-32 hours/week)
* Working place: Field-based position with visits to the headquarters in Geneva
* Practical working conditions in the field are in accordance with the MSF OCG volunteer manual
* Ideal start date: As Soon As Possible
* Gross monthly salary: CHF 5’500.- based on 100%
* Benefits: Health insurance and living expenses in the countries of intervention and at headquarters, paid according to internal regulations
