The Materials & Distribution Planner collaborates with the cross-functional team for the smoothest demand and supply planning, a high quality, and a timely availability for the customers.
This position reports to the Materials manager, and will be an on-site role (in Grens, Vaud).
What you will do
* Primary focus on Materials or Finished goods Procurement, Planning and Distribution: create, maintain and monitor call-offs and/or purchase orders until reception and discrepancies management/resolution, support capacity planning, master scheduling and distribution planning.
* Cross-functional collaboration for the smoothest demand and supply planning, a high quality, and a timely availability for the customers.
* Inventory management, define a Plan for Every Part for the portfolio, manage obsolescence/aging, scrap.
* Implement and maintain tools and dashboards for metrics, support continuous improvement with internal and external service providers, deliver and exceed the targeted key performance indicators (OTD, ITO).
* Support processes and Work Instructions standardization.
* QMS activities (deviations investigation, CAPA’s, Change Controls, DCC’s).
* Support NPI’s (New Product Introduction), TOW (Transfer of Work) and Lean projects.
Who you are
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED). Master’s Degree preferred.
* Minimum 8 years of proven experience in Supply Chain, preferably in Manufacturing planning, Materials planning and Execution, Inventory management, or Logistics and Distribution.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills, proven ability to interact and coordinate with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams.
* Project management experience, continuous improvement mindset, ability to develop “hands-on” operational plans and strategies.
* ERP good knowledge, preferably Oracle (EBS and ASCP)
* APICS Certification preferred.
* Fluent in French and English.
