We are seeking a motivated HR Analytics & Automation Specialist to join our HR Data Analytics team at Deloitte. As the dedicated data expert, this role focuses on data engineering, and process automation with a strong emphasis on enabling robust reporting and analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will contribute to system transformation projects by designing and implementing data setups that support accurate and insightful reporting, empowering data-driven HR decisions.
How you can make an impact
As an HR Analytics & Automation Specialist you will…
* Develop, maintain, and optimise data pipelines, databases, and integrations to ensure seamless data flow across our system landscape (e.g., Recruiting, HR core systems, Learning), with a focus on data integrity, and security.
* Lead innovative process automation initiatives leveraging a combination of Power Automate, APIs, and databases, to automate data inputs and outputs with stakeholders and orchestrate proactive automated notifications.
* Utilise programming skills in SQL, R, or Python to automate data processes and support advanced analytics.
* Drive reporting excellence by creating and enhancing dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau that surface key HR metrics, trends, and analyses, enabling evidence-based decision-making.
* Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, data-driven solutions, fluently bridging business objectives and technical data capabilities to maximise impact.
Who We Are Looking For
* Minimum one year of experience in data engineering, database management, and API integration. Knowledge of Azure architecture is a plus.
* Proven experience in SQL and programming languages such as R or Python.
* Practical hands‑on experience with Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools for reporting and dashboard development.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams and translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non‑technical colleagues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine team spirit, actively contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Proactive and passionate about leveraging HR data to generate actionable HR and business insights, with strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
