Join our Swiss Core Network team as a PS Core Network Engineer, focusing on NFVI solutions deployment and support in a dynamic, international environment.
Main Activities and Tasks:
* Plan, design, and deliver Packet Core NFV solutions (5GC, PCF, PCRF).
* Deploy, integrate, and support solutions on NFVI platforms.
* Provide technical expertise during major network deployments, upgrades, and expansions.
* Support testing, validation, and rollout of new core network products and features.
* Act as the technical interface for customer engineering teams.
Required Education & Trainings:
* Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
* Relevant certifications in networking, virtualization, or NFV platforms are a plus.
Required Experience:
* 3+ years' experience in network operations, engineering, or delivery projects.
* Hands-on experience with 5GC Packet Core products and NFVI environments.
* Familiarity with PCF/PCRF and VoLTE/VoNR call flows.
Specific Skills & Technical Knowledge:
* Solid IP networking skills (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP).
* Linux/UNIX systems expertise.
* Knowledge of telco cloud, virtualization, and container platforms.
* Strong communication skills, adaptability, and customer-facing experience.
