Overview
The Events & Marketing Support Officer will play a key role in supporting the Therapeutic Area team by ensuring the effective implementation of marketing strategies and seamless execution of events. The role requires both strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude, combining operational support with the ability to independently manage projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of translating strategic guidelines into concrete actions.
Responsibilities
Event Management
Plan, organize, and execute therapeutic area events, scientific meetings, and cross-therapeutic initiatives in alignment with TA guidelines.
Oversee all logistical aspects including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
Ensure full ownership of event execution while maintaining alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
Marketing Support & Operations
Act as a key support for the Therapeutic Area team, facilitating the rollout of marketing initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement marketing automation and process optimization.
Operational & Administrative Support
Support budget monitoring and reporting, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and alignment with forecasts.
Manage the creation and follow-up of purchase orders in compliance with company procedures.
Oversee the production, distribution, and stock management of promotional materials.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Educational background in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
4 years of experience in marketing, event management, or operational support, ideally within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or in a multinational environment.
Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
Technical Skills
Strong command of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with virtual and in-person event management tools.
Knowledge of industry compliance standards and promotional material regulations in the pharmaceutical sector.
Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
