Open Role: Internship – Project and Community Coordination
The Global Impact Coalition (GIC) is a collaborative platform enabling the chemical industry to achieve a circular and net‑zero emissions future. Incubated at the World Economic Forum, the GIC is led by key industry players including SABIC, Clariant, Covestro, LyondellBasell, Mitsubishi Chemical Group, Moeve, Syensqo, SUEZ and LG Chem. As the industry’s first ever CEO and executive‑led coalition, the GIC’s members collaborate to address challenges that cannot be effectively tackled alone. The GIC provides a cross‑industry platform to co‑develop and scale‑up new technologies and innovative business models to reduce carbon emissions and advance circularity along the value chain.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive intern to join our rapidly growing team. As an intern, you will support the daily work of the GIC team. You will gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, senior‑level environment, learning from experienced professionals within our team and the broader community. The role sits at the intersection of communications, business development and operations. The role requires someone to be comfortable switching contexts rapidly across strategic outreach, content production and event and working group logistics.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of the GIC. You will have close interactions with the full GIC team.
We are looking for a candidate who can learn quickly, is naturally curious, and understands the importance of having a solid administrative and operational base. In this position, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with senior decision makers and project experts from member companies and strategic partners.
To apply, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the position and how your skills align with the responsibilities. Email your application to contact@wearegic.com. Please note that, due to work authorization requirements, we are currently only able to consider candidates who hold an EU passport.
