Responsibilities
Act as a senior legal expert within the Legal & Regulatory team, taking ownership of complex legal and regulatory matters and working closely with the Head of Legal & Regulatory
Take responsibility for strategic, group‑wide legal projects in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate communication with regulatory authorities (e.g., FINMA, BaFin) and handle related requests
Provide high‑quality legal and regulatory advice across all business areas, including corporate governance matters
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents; manage and instruct external counsel where needed
Support the Group’s international expansion by providing legal and regulatory guidance for new markets, including regions such as LATAM
Act as a key legal counterpart for institutional clients and their Legal teams
Contribute to business‑critical decision‑making processes from a legal and regulatory perspective
Help maintain and further develop the legal and regulatory framework for the Group companies
Monitor and assess relevant legal and regulatory developments, ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders
Support the Head of Legal & Regulatory, the Executive Board, and the Board of Directors in legal and regulatory matters affecting the Group
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience as Legal & Regulatory Counsel, ideally with exposure to financial regulation or related areas; project management experience highly desired
A master’s degree in Law or “Lizenziat” in Law from a Swiss University
Admission to the Swiss bar preferential
Knowledge of Web 3.0 and DLT a strong asset
Experience working in an international and fast‑evolving environment, ideally within financial services, fintech, or technology
Proven ability to work in a structured, pragmatic, and efficient manner while maintaining high quality
A dynamic person with a positive attitude and strong motivational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self‑driven, results‑oriented, and hands‑on, with an attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
