About the role
We are seeking an experienced Credit Trader specializing in synthetic credit derivatives, particularly Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and Credit-Linked Notes (CLNs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in trading single-name and index CDS, with experience in structuring or trading CLNs. A strong understanding of credit markets is essential. Experience in bond trading, especially in market-making or brokerage, is a significant plus. This role involves managing risk, sourcing and executing trades, and providing market intelligence to stakeholders. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is critical. Experience in other asset classes is also advantageous.

What you'll do
Execute and manage trading positions in credit derivatives, focusing on CDS (single-name and index)
Source and manage liquidity across CDS markets, maintaining strong relationships with counterparties and clients
Monitor macroeconomic indicators, credit events, and issuer-specific developments to inform trading decisions
Collaborate with sales and structuring teams to identify and execute trading opportunities and deliver tailored solutions
Provide real-time market insights, pricing, and trade ideas to clients and internal teams
Proactively manage risk and optimize P&L through hedging and inventory management
Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and external regulations
Optional: Support bond execution and contribute to corporate bond trading efforts
What you'll need
5+ years of experience in credit trading, focusing on CDS and credit derivatives
Deep understanding of credit markets, derivatives, and risk frameworks
Experience with trading platforms like Bloomberg, Tradeweb, or similar
Strong quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel (VBA/Python is a plus)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Initiative, attention to detail, and decision-making under pressure
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
