The Securities Trading & Treasury team is seeking a Technical IT Business Analyst to support requirements analysis, solution design, and parameterisation activities on the Avaloq Core Platform, primarily for customers across Switzerland/Liechtenstein (CH/FL) and the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and processes within the Treasury and Securities Trading domain
Evaluate alternative scenarios and recommend optimal business and IT solutions
Design, build, parameterise, and maintain solutions on the Avaloq platform
Actively participate in implementation projects and client workshops
Manage client relationships through regular communication and professional business consulting
Prepare reports and project documentation related to new client requirements, ongoing activities, and project status
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Avaloq Securities Trading and Treasury solutions, implementation standards, and innovative product development initiatives
Qualifications
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience with business analysis and requirements engineering in the financial industry
Good programming skills
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and conceptual skills
Excellent client‑orientation and strong communication skills
Self‑motivated, proactive and structured working method with a passion for learning
Bonus Qualifications
Deep knowledge in PL/SQL
Experience with Avaloq or other banking systems
Experience in the Treasury and Securities area
Understanding of relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL)
Experience with agile methodologies
Italian, German and French languages
