Head Chef – La Ferme & Fee Chäller, Hotel Beau-Site (Saas-Fee)

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchens of La Ferme and Fee Chäller, two distinctive dining destinations at Hotel Beau-Site in Saas-Fee, which will undergo a full renovation in the coming months.

This is a unique opportunity to join an iconic alpine property as it embarks on a new chapter; blending culinary craftsmanship, local identity, and contemporary hospitality in the heart of the Valais region.

As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of the hotel's culinary operations, developing seasonal menus, leading a talented brigade and ensuring every dish reflects precision, flavour and authenticity. Working closely with the Restaurant Director and Management Company, you will oversee daily execution, financial performance and creative direction while building a culture rooted in teamwork, excellence and pride in the craft.

Your Responsibilities

· Lead all culinary operations across La Ferme and Fee Chäller, ensuring each outlet delivers consistent quality and identity.

· Design and implement creative, seasonal menus celebrating Swiss produce, Valais traditions and European culinary heritage.

· Recruit, motivate and mentor a skilled brigade of seven chefs and stewards, fostering an environment of respect, growth and artistry.

· Drive operational and financial performance, including food cost, waste management, and purchasing via the Hops inventory system.

· Ensure all HACCP, hygiene and safety standards are met, maintaining a highly efficient and compliant kitchen environment.

· Collaborate with the Restaurant Director and front-of-house teams to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction.

· Represent the property as a culinary ambassador, engaging with local producers, media, and guests to promote the restaurant's gastronomic philosophy.

About You

· Proven Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience in high-end brasserie, bistronomie, or luxury hotel environments.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, train and develop a motivated team.

· Having a strong experience in pre-openings is an asset to this new venture, bringing specific skills and valuable expertise

· Passion for local ingredients, sustainability and creative craftsmanship.

· Excellent understanding of menu engineering, cost control and operational systems.

· Fluent in German & English; French is a strong advantage.

· Holds the required professional qualification to supervise apprentices and interns.

Hotel Beau-Site will be refurbished and will re-open at the end of 2026 to bring together alpine elegance, contemporary design, and heartfelt hospitality.
