The hiring process consists of an initial 1 hour remote call, and later with a multi-round on-site interview.
Collaborate closely with our News Frontend team in Zurich and Belgrade, Product Owner, and CMS team.
Be more than a code implementer: actively shape product direction by identifying opportunities to improve the reader experience.
Contribute to a team that analyzes, develops, and continuously learns from new technologies and requirements.
Work with MVVM architecture, clean code principles, and reactive programming concepts.
Keep optimizing our CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Xcode Cloud.
Mentor other engineers and value constructive feedback on your ideas.
At least five years of proven experience in iOS app development and a strong track record of shipping high-quality apps to the App Store.
You should be fluent in Swift and comfortable working with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine and Objective-C.
You understand common mobile architecture patterns and know how to design maintainable and scalable codebases.
You are open to working on a hybrid app (using WebViews with native features).
A doer’s mindset: you are not afraid to jump into web or Android whenever the team needs it.
You are an excellent communicator who enjoys working with different teams.
You are curious about the latest developments in iOS and WatchOS.
Fluent English to work with our teammates in Zurich and Belgrade.

Preselection
We review our applications on an ongoing basis. To ensure a fast response time, we create a preliminary selection. The decision on advancement or departure from the recruitment process is done by the hiring manager and communicated via mail.
HR Interview
In the first step of getting to know each other, we schedule a call between you and the responsible recruiter. This will either be a virtual or an in person interview. The goal of this step is getting a first impression of you as a person and your professional capabilities.
On-site Iinterview
Our on-site interview is all about building a connection and getting to know each other better. You'll have the chance to meet face-to-face with supervisors and team members, gain valuable insights into the position and get a feel for our workplace culture.
Case Study
You will be given a specific problem or challenge that is relevant to the position you have applied for. When presenting your results, we have the opportunity to better understand your skills and approaches in a work context.
