Role OverviewThe Senior Accountant independently manages accounting, administrative, and treasury activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations. The role collaborates with internal functions and external partners (audit, payroll, suppliers, banks) and contributes to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.Main ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPosting and filing of supplier invoicesPosting and filing of deeds, official documents, and contractsGeneral ledger maintenancePreparation and posting of employee expense reimbursementsSupport in preparing the annual financial statements, notes to the accounts, P&L, and Balance SheetSupport with the preparation of the quarterly VAT reportTreasuryManagement of supplier payments, social security contributions, other financial obligations, and petty cashOperational Coordination & Cross-functional ActivitiesSupport to audits through document review and preparation of required materialsCoordination with internal and external stakeholdersExperience in management control, ensuring that objectives, resources, and results are aligned and efficient with the company’s short-, medium-, and long-term goals, covering both the Lugano and Turin offices.Experience in group consolidated reporting.Office ManagementBasic administrative and secretarial tasksRequirementsSolid experience (5+ years) in accounting and administration within structured organizationsExcellent knowledge of general accounting, accounting principles, and monthly/annual closing processesExperience with SAP Business One is preferredAbility to independently manage multiple prioritiesAccuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skillsGood interpersonal skillsKnowledge of the English language is mandatory, while German is preferredAbout MaticaMatica is a global leader in secure ID issuance and financial card personalization solutions.
