Sous Chef & Chef de Partie Wanted – Work in the Swiss Alps
Are you a passionate chef looking for a new challenge in a stunning mountain setting? We're searching for a Sous Chef and a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in a cozy hotel in the breathtaking Swiss Alps
Sous Chef – Your Role:
* Manage a specific section of the kitchen (hot, cold, pastry, etc.)
* Prepare and present dishes to high standards
* Assist the Head Chef in running the kitchen smoothly
* Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards
* Support and train the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and teamwork
* Contribute to menu planning and bring creative ideas to the table
* Maintain hygiene, safety, and stock control in the kitchen
* Step in and lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role (Sous Chef or Chef de Partie)
* Passion for fresh, high-quality food and creative presentation
* Ability to work well under pressure, especially during high season and special events
* A team player with good communication skills
* German and English language skills are appreciated.
* Knowledge of Swiss or Alpine cuisine is a plus
