You will lead the development and execution of Phonak’s global social media strategy, aligning with brand objectives and marketing priorities. The role ensures Phonak maintains a consistent and engaging social media presence across all global platforms while acting as a strategic liaison between global/local teams, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Develop, adapt, and implement a comprehensive global social media strategy.
2. Own and manage a global social media content calendar across relevant platforms (., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
3. Manage and optimize Phonak’s presence across social media channels, ensuring consistent tone and visual identity.
4. Align social media communication with overall brand and product strategies.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product marketing, audiology, brand, PR) to ensure message alignment and campaign leverage.
6. Support commercial marketing with tailored, on-brand content for product launches, promotions, and customer engagement.
7. Create ad-hoc content (copy, visuals, video) for real-time events, campaign extensions, and ambassador storytelling.
8. Support PR by developing content to amplify earned media and extend campaign reach.
9. Monitor, analyze, and report social media metrics to optimize performance and inform strategies.
10. Ensure adherence to global social media guidelines across all regions.
Your profile:
11. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related field
12. Minimum 5 years managing brand social media channels
13. Consumer- and customer-first mindset with strong strategic, analytical, and creative skills
14. Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach
15. Passion for storytelling and content creation
16. Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
17. Ability to lead projects and align cross-functional stakeholders
18. Native English speaker with strong interpersonal skills
19. Strong writing/editing, strategic planning, and project management skills
20. Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Acrobat), SAP, and social media tools like Hootsuite
21. Passion for digital marketing, health tech, and creating social value through content

22. Certifications in social media management, digital strategy, or related areas
23. Experience in global roles or health tech/medical industries
