To strengthen our position at the forefront of this global market, we are looking for dedicated employees who would like to work in a fascinating international environment with more than 230 customers worldwide. /b /p pWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Integration Consultant for our Basel office to support our customers throughout the data migration activities of their AMOS implementation projects and for data integration and analytics projects. /p h3The main focus of this position is /h3 ul liGuide and support new customers within the data migration work stream. /li liProvide configuration and troubleshooting expertise for the setup of interfaces and system integration. /li liSupport customer troubleshooting and problem-solving during data verification and interface testing. /li liDevelop relevant KPIs and work on data analytics projects. /li liMaintain and create required documentation related to data migration and system integration. /li /ul h3Your tasks will include /h3 ul liConsulting customers on how to migrate legacy data into AMOS using ETL software /li liMapping data between AMOS and the legacy system /li liDevelopment and coding extraction scripts (e.g. in SQL, Python and Java) /li liEvaluation-, configuration and specification of interfaces /li liDevelop data migration sub-project plans with the Swiss-AS Project Manager. /li liLeading small data migration projects end to end /li liEnsure that tools and documentation (e.g. Data Migration Guidelines) are relevant and up-to-date. /li /ul pAs a real team player, you are highly motivated and committed. You also have good communication skills and can interact with people from various technical backgrounds and cultures. In addition, knowledge about the aviation industry and processes in aircraft maintenance is an advantage. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liAMOS and MRO knowledge are a plus /li liCompleted a degree/diploma in software engineering, computer science, aviation, and air transport engineering with a strong IT background. /li liStrong foundation in SQL as well as several scripting- and programming languages /li liDatabase knowledge (e.g., PostgreSQL and Oracle...) /li liKnowledge of ETL tools (E,g.: Talaxie, Informatica, Glue...) and processes /li liAbility to work independently and under pressure in project environments. Project management experience is a plus. /li liExcellent organizational-, communication- and interpersonal skills /li liExact articulation skills, also in the context of AI prompts /li liStrong customer orientation, ability to make decisions and ensure quality /li liFluency in English. /li liThe position requires significant travel (at least 50%).
