Laboratory assistant

We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant (M/F/D) for a company in the North Vaud region specialised in the manufacture of synthetic material parts.

Responsibilities
You will join the laboratory workshop to carry out the following tasks:
Main tasks:
Management of two testing laboratories
Daily quality control on production lines
Testing of finished products
Testing of raw material inputs
Monitoring of all measuring and calibration tools
Maintenance and follow-up of maintenance on various laboratory installations
Contact with various control and certification institutes
Collaboration with the quality manager

Profile
Holder of a Federal VET Diploma in mechanics, plastics, quality control or equivalent with several years of experience in these fields
Good knowledge in metrology
Good skills in using common IT tools (MS Office)
Ability to work precisely and independently
Sense of order and organisation
Knowledge of German and/or English is a real asset
