About This Role
The AO Foundation contributes high-quality applied preclinical research and development within trauma and musculoskeletal system disorders, translating knowledge to improve surgical procedures, devices, and substances for effective patient care worldwide. It fosters close relationships with the AO's medical community, academic societies, and universities, providing a research environment and support for AO clinicians.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and execute social media strategies to promote our research and connect with orthopaedic surgeons globally.
* Create engaging content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
* Manage and grow our social media presence, ensuring consistent and impactful communication.
* Organize and coordinate international orthopaedic conferences, including logistics, speaker arrangements, and promotional activities.
* Collaborate with the research team to understand and effectively communicate clinical procedures and research findings.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in social media marketing and orthopaedic surgery.
Main Requirements
* Master's degree in health or a related field.
* Proven experience in social media marketing and communications, preferably in the healthcare or orthopaedic field.
* Strong understanding of clinical procedures in orthopaedic surgery.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Experience in organizing and coordinating international conferences.
* Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
