Our multinational end client is now looking for a Project Manager Cloud Infrastructure (Migration to Azure).
This is a project that is planned to run in 2027; full time presence is required and ideally onsite in Baden.
Currently all central systems and applications are hosted in on-premise data centers. Client initiated a project to migrate all application environments from the on-premise DCs to Azure. These applications are based on architecture and components such as virtual servers, databases, etc.
This Azure migration project intends to move all applications to Azure and close-down the data center where the environments are currently hosted. Current migration approach is focused on re-platforming current environments. The migration has already started, and first applications are migrated.

Lead the re-platforming of assigned legacy applications from the on-premise data center to Azure as a member of the infrastructure/platform team.
Coordinate with IT engineers, architects, application/business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver successful re-platforming migrations within agreed timelines.
Develop and execute migration plans focused on re-platforming (lift-and-optimize), ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with platform standards.
Coordinate technical activities including assessment, environment preparation, configuration, testing, transfer to production and post-migration validation.
Ensure all migrations adhere to security, compliance, and operational requirements specific to re-platformed solutions.
Provide clear, regular updates to infrastructure/platform management and project steering committees.
