Ferrari Group is looking for a Branch Director to open and manage the new Zurich office. The selected person will be responsible for the operational start-up of the branch and the strategic, organisational and operational management of the local team, in close cooperation with the General Management.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate import-export activities, including air traffic (export, import, triangulations)
* Manage relations with airlines, agents, customs, transporters and customers
* Supervise the drafting of transport documents (LTA, CMR, etc.)
* Supervise customs declarations for export, import and transit
* Monitor shipments and ensure excellent communication with customers
* Manage complaints, disputes and operational disputes
* Ensure correct taxation of consignments
* Managing the local team: time planning, shifts, holidays, performance and development
* Actively manage local and international customer relations
* Promote the company's services, identify business opportunities, contribute to the development of the client portfolio
Ideal profile:
* Higher education in the logistics and transport sector; possession of the Federal Customs Declarant Certificate is an advantage
* Proven experience of at least 10 years in the international transport sector, of which at least 3 years in direct team management
* Excellent knowledge of air export dynamics, the main Incoterms and customs regulations
* Commercial attitude and customer orientation, with the ability to communicate effectively and develop strong professional relationships
* Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and priority management skills
* Perfect knowledge of German and French, good command of English or Italian
* Excellent computer skills (MS Office, AS400 or equivalent systems)
* Team spirit, reliability and strong sense of responsibility
Contractual information:
* Main place of work: Zurich
* In-person placement at the company's Geneva office for a period of 6-12 months
* Type of contract: 100% permanent
