Role summary
The role involves assisting in leading the daily Food and Beverage operation, ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests. You will report to the General Manager and be responsible for guiding the Food and Beverage operation to deliver high standards of service.
Responsibilities
* Selection, talent management and development of the Food and Beverage team; visible in the operation to recognize guests and cultivate new guest relationships.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef to plan and develop menus and wine lists.
* Control expenses through effective planning, budgeting and purchasing decisions; policy making and inventory control.
* Ensure guests receive the highest levels of service excellence.
* Build, lead, coach, train and develop a strong team; create a great workplace to deliver excellent experiences.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Five to seven years of experience in diverse Food and Beverage management positions; hotel opening experience is essential.
* Luxurious resort F&B experience; focus on team development and a creative flair; personal energy in F&B experiences.
* Fluency in German and English; EU work eligibility.
* Education: Higher professional education and training, diploma or equivalent.
Languages
* English: Very good knowledge (spoken and written).
* German: Very good knowledge (spoken and written).
* French: Good knowledge (spoken and written).
