Responsibilities
* Design, maintain and continuously improve competency‑based training programs for technical and operational roles
* Translate regulatory, OEM and operational requirements into structured learning paths and curricula
* Define training standards, documentation, and governance mechanisms ensuring audit‑ready compliance for all trainings
* Oversee the translation of program frameworks into deliverable learning solutions, ensuring trainers, SMEs, and shared services have the required inputs and standards
* Manage delivery of classroom, hands‑on and on‑job training activities
* Monitor training KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
* Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and HR to align training with business needs
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, in Business, Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Education, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation MRO, technical training, regulatory training or program management preferred.
* Proven senior level project or program manager competence, ideally in a regulated environment.
* Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks (EASA Part 145, FAA, OEM) preferred and willingness to learn about engine maintenance processes, authorization / certification requirements, and willingness to deepen technical knowledge.
* Experience with training program design, competency models or LMS platforms is of advantage.
* Strong analytical, organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Fluent English skills (C1) required; German skills (B1) desired.
