SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant (m,f,d) 80-100% – Hybrid
Project: To support a major HR modernization initiative as part of a broader digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant.
Tasks:
1. Actively contribute to the program and lead the Operational Readiness stream
2. Define business requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders across HR, IT, finance, and third parties
3. Analyse current payroll and time processes and identify areas for optimisation
4. Configure and maintain SAP Payroll and Time Management modules in line with business needs
5. Implement and refine payroll and time management policies and controls to ensure compliance
6. Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and propose technical solutions or improvements
7. Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support
8. Support the transition into operations and help establish the long-term support model
9. Stay informed on SAP Payroll and Time Management updates and best practices
10. Manage SAP OSS notes and apply relevant system updates
11. Ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules (e.g., HR, finance, procurement)
12. Contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, migrations, and related projects
Required Skills & Experience:
13. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
14. Proven experience (6+ years) as an SAP Payroll and Time Management Consultant
15. Strong understanding of SAP Payroll configuration (schema, rules, wage types, PCRs)
16. Experience with Swiss payroll is highly advantageous
17. Skilled in using Payroll Control Centre (PCC) and managing system compliance
18. Experience delivering full lifecycle SAP PY/PT implementations
19. Ability to analyse and solve complex technical and process issues
20. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
21. SAP certifications in Payroll and Time Management preferred
22. Familiarity with SuccessFactors or other SAP HR modules is a plus
23. Knowledge of ABAP debugging is beneficial
24. Experience with external system integrations (e.g., time/attendance tools)
25. Fluent in both German and English
