SIOP Advanced Analytics Leader
Location: Lucerne, Switzerland (Global Ops Capabilities Hub)
Reports To: Global SIOP Leader (Lucerne)
Function: Global Operations – SIOP Advanced Analytics
Role Purpose
As theSIOP Advanced Analytics Leader, you willown the global analytics strategy for SIOP, enabling data-driven decisions that balancedemand, supply, EBIT, and cash trade-offs.
This role leads a team responsible forAI / statistical forecasting model development,decision support for S&OP, andtraining / adoption of advanced planning tools. You will partner with global and regional SIOP leaders, Finance, Product Marketing, and Operations to deliverpredictive insights, scenario modelling, and portfolio analyticsthat drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Advanced Forecasting & AI Model Development
* Own thedesign, development, and continuous improvementof statistical and AI / ML forecasting models for demand planning.
* Implementdemand sensing algorithmsand predictive analytics to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
Decision Support for S&OP
* Leadanalytical support for monthly S&OP meetings, providing insights on demand / supply balancing, inventory, and financial trade-offs.
* Developscenario planning modelsto evaluate options under demand volatility, supply constraints, and cost / service implications.
Product Review Analytics
* Provide analytical insights forPortfolio Complexity Reduction,Adjacency Assessments, andNPI / LTS (New Product Introduction / Long-Term Supply)readiness.
Training & Adoption
* Drivetrainings and capability buildingfor regional and functional teams on advanced analytics tools and methodologies.
* Ensureadoption at scaleof new forecasting models, dashboards, and decision-support tools across the enterprise.
Data Governance & Digital Enablement
* Partner with IT and Digital teams to ensuredata architecture, governance, and integrationfor SIOP analytics.
* Championautomation and visualizationthrough BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced analytics platforms.
Qualifications
* Education : Master’s in Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
* Experience : 10+ years in advanced analytics, forecasting, or supply chain planning, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
* Technical Expertise :
AI / ML modeling for forecasting (Python / R, TensorFlow, or similar)
* Statistical forecasting techniques and demand sensing
* BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and planning platforms (SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis)
* Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead cross-functional analytics teams and drive adoption of digital tools.
* Communication : Strong executive presence; ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business insights.
* Language : English required; additional European languages a plus.
