 
        
        Project Engineer Public Safety – Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial (Geneva, Switzerland).
Overview
We are looking for an experienced engineer to implement and support incident management systems for emergency organizations. The role is based at our Geneva office and involves collaboration with local teams and customers’ sites in Romandie.
Responsibilities
 * Implement and provide technical support for incident management systems for emergency organizations.
 * Integrate solutions to meet customer requirements and expectations.
 * Involve in the entire project cycle: requirements analysis, configuration, installation, testing, and documentation.
 * Automate the delivery of software components using CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
 * Serve as the central interface between development, support, project management, and customers.
 * Work according to our agile framework and adapt flexibly to changing requirements.
 * Collaborate with the Geneva team and visit customers’ sites in Romandie.
Qualifications
 * Completed training in IT (e.g., HES computer science or equivalent).
 * Keen interest in IT, current technologies, and basic understanding of networks, server OS, and developments.
 * Experience with web technologies (e.g., React) and ability to use them.
 * Knowledge of database usage (SQL Server).
 * Excellent customer contact skills and ability to explain technical topics understandably.
 * Enjoy complexity as a challenge to provide secure processes.
 * Language requirements: fluency in French, very good command of English, and good command of German.
 * Knowledge of development is a plus.
Location
Geneva office, Geneva, Switzerland – part-time travel to customers’ sites in Romandie.
