Your new responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics for our SaaS business
2. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across R&D, Finance, Quality, and other domains to understand their data challenges and priorities. Translate these insights into impactful dashboard solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization
3. Apply best practices in data visualization and user experience to ensure dashboards are intuitive, actionable, and support data-driven decision-making.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and reporting capabilities
5. Manage and version control PowerBI assets and related scripts using GitLab
6. Support in connecting to various data sources, performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
7. Contribute to implementing complex DAX formulas and M-queries to create robust data models and insightful calculations
Your talents and experience
8. You are currently enrolled pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field or University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland
9. 1 to 2 years of experience with Microsoft PowerBI Desktop, or a strong interest and aptitude for learning its functionalities
10. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
11. Basic understanding of software development processes and methodologies
12. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitLab
13. Proficiency in a programming language commonly used for data manipulation (e.g., Python, SQL, TypeScript) is a plus
14. You are a motivated and proactive student with excellent problem-solving skills and a dedicated, results-oriented work style
15. Fluent in English is a must, knowledge of German will be a benefit in this role
