* You will be responsible for leading a team of Senior EI&C Plant Engineers, engineers, and specialists in the respective areas.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of EI&C Plant Engineers, EI&C engineers, and specialists, providing leadership and overseeing human resource management.
">
* Plan and coordinate resources and vacations for assigned team members to meet production orders.
">
* Control costs, identify cost reduction measures, and implement them.
">
* Ensure effective communication between upper management levels and teams through regular meetings and issue escalation.
">
* Promote a culture of openness, change, teamwork, and continuous improvement, implementing Lonza's vision as a service provider.
">
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies, standards, and concepts to ensure plant availability while considering cost-effectiveness.
">
* Initiate, prepare, and manage feasibility studies, engineering projects, and investments.
">
* Oversee all aspects of engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and user access administration for assigned assets and systems.
">
* Maintain qualification status for production plants, ensuring compliance with cGMP and safety regulations.
">
* Support production managers in engineering and maintenance topics.
">
* Continuously improve internal processes and innovate solutions.
">
* Represent EI&C qualification and calibration during inspections and customer audits.
">
* Adhere to technical directives and laws, including Lonza Standards, SVTI, ATEX, and machinery directive.
">
* Manage interfaces with Manufacturing, Plant Engineering, QA, and QC departments.
">
* Contribute to GMP and Safety risk assessments and introduce expertise in these analyses.
">
* Function as a specialist/expert for assigned topics according to CHVI-7873 and as a member of the knowledge management team (KMT).
">
* Represent the Advanced Synthesis BioConjugates Plant Engineering Leadership Team in all aspects related to his area.
">
