Risk Manager AML, Cross-Border and Suitability
Aufgaben
Monitoring and conducting relvant gap analyses of regulatory obligations such as AML, cross-border, MiFID II and investment suitability / Continuously review and optimize the control framework, and update business documentation / Performing independent audits as second line of defence (2nd LoD) and on the basis of the findings and monitor the implementation of corrective measures / Ensuring immediate remediation of identified vulnerabilities and reviewing and streamlining processes / Acting as a sparring partner for the line managers / Participating in special investigations and projects / Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations / Writing concise reports for the senior management / Point of contact for the business on regulatory compliance issues regarding AML, cross-border, MiFID II and investment suitability / Travel activity 10-15 % per year.
Qualifikation
Master's or Bachelor's degree / Sound experience as a risk manager (2nd LoD) or auditor (3rd LoD) in a bank or a Big 4 company / CIA or CPA certification or a MAS study as an advantage / Knowledge of AML, cross-border, SFTR (transactions), MiFID II and investment suitability regulations / Good understanding of financial market products (e.g. derivatives) and infrastructure regulations / Understanding the front-to-back processes of transactions / Analytical skills and the ability to perform projects independently / Team and service orientation / Ability to lead projects and advise line managers / Interest to collaborate across departments with various stakeholders / Fluency in German (C1/2) and English is essential; other languages are an advantage.
