Job Description / Responsibilities Engineering and execution of DCS and control systems for Energy from Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG) plants Control system hardware and cable engineering, including cabinet layouts, wiring, loop, and termination diagrams Preparation of technical specifications, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and timely system ordering Supervision and coordination of suppliers throughout project execution and documentation reviews Engineering and selection of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow, analyzers) Participation in FAT, risk assessments (HAZOP, SIL, Cyber Security), and design review meetings Interface coordination with internal teams, support of tendering and commissioning activities Technical support, coaching of automation engineers, and contribution to process improvement initiatives Qualifications Several years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in power plant or process industries Strong knowledge of bus communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP, IEC 104, OPC) Solid understanding of field instrumentation, measurement principles, and ATEX environments Experience with CAE tools (e.g., COMOS) and electrical engineering tools (EPLAN, SIMARIS advantageous) Functional Safety Engineer and/or Cyber Security Engi
