Our client is looking for someone who will shape end-to-end metrology processes to ensure compliant, efficient, and scalable laboratory operations. Your Responsibilities: Build, lead, and develop a high-performing metrology team; Own and drive the full equipment lifecycle: onboarding, qualification, maintenance, change management, and decommissioning; Establish harmonized processes and documentation standards for equipment across all lab units; Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements across all metrology activities; Coordinate with external service providers and key internal stakeholders (labs, QA, IT, procurement); Drive continuous improvement and standardization of equipment management and calibration routines; Support audits and regulatory inspections as the responsible metrology lead; Monitor KPIs and resource planning to ensure effective, scalable team operations. Your Profile: Degree in engineering, life science, or a related field – alternatively, extensive practical experience in metrology or equipment lifecycle management may also qualify; Proven experience in laboratory equipment lifecycle management; Leadership experience, ideally in a matrix or cross-functional team setting; Deep understanding of metrology processes, regulatory compliance, and quality systems; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach; Very good English skills; German is an advantage.
