R&D Project Engineer - Hip:
The R&D Project Engineer, will partecipate in the development of new Medical Devices and in the innovation of the existing ones. In collaboration with international teams of surgeons, will follow the entire development cycle of new prostheses and surgical instruments, from conception to product engineering and production.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
definition of user needs and product specification;
preparation of technical project and product documentation (3D CAD design, 2D, design history file, technical file);
definition of verification tests and product validation;
technical interface to external suplliers, in-house production and testing laboratories;
coordination of the involved business functions with the aim of achieving the defined objectives;
updating periodic communication to marketing and sales areas and to the surgeons' collaborators team.
The resource should also have the following skills:
Hard Skills
Master's degree in Biomedical and/or Mechanical Engineering;
excellent knowledge of English;
2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position in the medical devices field;
availability to travel on national and international territory;
familiarity with MS Office, Solidworkd and FEA software (Ansys, Abaqus);
familiarity with injection molding and/or electrical devices.
