As a Senior Installation Supervisor at Bühler you are managing and leading a team of technicians required for the installation of big and/or complex projects (X-BU, type A projects). You would be responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of the installation supervision, within the scope of work associated to the assigned project. Responsibilities
* Ensures personnel assigned is fully acquainted with site‑specific rules, safety regulations and environmental protection measures and that they perform their work accordingly, and that you perform installation according to specifications and engineering documents, taking into account safety instructions, environmental protection measures and local regulations.
* Monitors progress of construction against the program, and takes steps to ensure the program is achieved. Initiates, as required, mitigation/preventive actions to achieve the target program in a timely manner with the support of the Site Manager or Project Manager.
* Conducts or attends daily and weekly meetings with Bühler staff and subcontractors, ensures that the Site Manager and the Project Manager receive regular information updates, and promotes correct behaviour and good teamwork within the installation and commissioning team in accordance with company policy and local requirements/regulations.
* Ensures proper reporting while identifying, documenting and communicating any deviations from the customer contract, and is responsible for maintaining an intensive customer relationship and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Engineering degree and 10 years of experience as Chief Installation Supervisor or proof of sufficient skills.
* Technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside the company.
* Strong planning, organising and priority‑setting skills, with a proven ability to manage teams.
* Strong customer focus, sound judgment and decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
