# Cloud / DevOps Engineer # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Canton Zurich / Remote Start date: asap Reference number: 871959/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Design, implementation, operation, and continuous enhancement of a modern deployment and operations architecture based on Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Azure DevOps) * Installation, commissioning, and operation of software solutions in both cloud environments and on-premises customer installations * Design, operation, and maintenance of a remote support and monitoring infrastructure using established SaaS tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB, CheckMK, and similar technologies * Analysis of incidents and root causes as well as continuous optimization of systems and operational processes in collaboration with software development teams * Acting as a technical point of contact and sparring partner for internal application and development teams * Setup and operation of remote access solutions and technical support for operational technology (OT) environments at customer sites * Planning, design, and implementation of network architectures within diverse customer infrastructures * Collaboration with international software and systems engineering teams, including stakeholders in Europe, the USA, and Australia ### Profile ### * Completed education in computer science, information technology, or a comparable technical field (completed university of applied sciences or equivalent qualification) * Extensive hands-on experience in the operation and provisioning of cloud-based services on AWS or Azure, including: Web services, Container registries, container applications, and Kubernetes clusters, Serverless applications, Terraform and modern infrastructure-as-code and deployment concepts * Strong expertise in the administration and maintenance of Linux-based server systems * Practical experience with Windows Server environments, MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases, ...
