We are looking for a Channel Area Sales Manager to develop and coordinate a building technology (BIS) channel sales focusing on opportunity identification in projects’ business (SPEC), distribution network improvement through the management of a network of Distributors and Wholesalers. Manage sales and services for BIS business in Switzerland. What you will experience in this position: Develop, manage and grow building technology (BIS) sales channels in Switzerland, all steps and activities consistent with global business objectives, vision and strategies. Identification of building technology/industrial (BIS/IHS) sales and business development opportunities on the national basis. Establish a comprehensive network of key partners, this will help to secure organic and sustainable growth. Build construction project business (specification sales) in cooperation with partners and specialized distributors. Assist in the development of sales / product literature and other MarCom activities. Plan and execute promotional campaigns including trade show participation, implement best practice concept including all activities (seminars, workshops, trainings, etc.). Conduct regular sales and technical training sessions for key clients and their staff on our products and applications to expand their expertise, sales and technical capabilities. Represent BIS as appropriate in its relations with major distributors, customers, vendors and governmental agencies. Identify opportunities, track all activities and implement CRM on daily basis as Chemelex common sales management tool. You Have: Market knowledge: detailed knowledge of distribution networks in Switzerland associated with the construction industry preferably sanitary and/or e-channel (sanitary/electrical wholesalers), and construction/infrastructure projects (specification sales). Should also have a good knowledge of heat tracing applications. Experience: 3 years of proven experience in a similar sales role/environment. Customer Knowledge: requires strong well-established relationships at senior and influential levels with distributors and major contractors operating within the country. Construction Industry Knowledge: working knowledge of project and construction management. Communication Skills: strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, cross-functional communication. Languages: German language skills are essential and English & French preferable. Salesmanship Skills: strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achievement on major projects and/or distribution networks. Organization Skills: strong account management and time management skills. Strong leadership and negotiating skills necessary to secure contracts on large distribution opportunities. Qualifications: higher professional education and training (Eidgenössische Berufsprüfung/ Techniker TS), technical background in Electricity or HVAC preferably supported by a business qualification will be additional asset.
