Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning & Qualification (CQV) Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical project based in the Basel region, one of Switzerland’s leading Life Sciences hubs.

Responsibilities
1. Lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians in delivering qualification, calibration, and automation I/O checks across all E&I systems, ensuring CQV execution adheres to project timelines.
2. Review and approve Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) documentation, including loop packs and test protocols for all related process and utility equipment.
3. Supervise field execution, including commissioning, testing, and calibration of process equipment as well as clean and black utilities.
4. Represent the CQV team in client and project meetings, reporting progress and technical updates clearly and professionally.
5. Coordinate vendor activities to optimize and streamline CQV deliverables.
6. Collaborate closely with construction, automation, and operations teams to ensure smooth project handover and compliance with Swiss and EU GMP standards.
Qualifications
7. Engineering degree (Automation, Process, Electrical or related discipline).
8. Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
9. At least 8 years of experience within the Life Sciences or pharmaceutical sector.
10. Strong background in process equipment, black and clean utilities, and CQV execution.
11. Proven ability to work effectively in a project-driven environment.
12. Hands-on, proactive approach and strong problem-solving mindset.
13. High level of customer focus and team collaboration, aligned with Swiss quality and precision standards.
