Description
For one of our financial services clients, we are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with extensive experience in configuring, developing, and integrating ServiceNow modules (especially ITSM, ITOM and SAM). They should possess strong technical expertise in ServiceNow's core functionalities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive and organized approach to problem-solving.
General Information
* Start date: ASAP (could wait two-three months for the right candidate)
* End date: 12 months contract
* Extension: potentially
* Workload: 100%
* Setup: Hybrid, 50% remote work in Switzerland per week
* On Call: yes (might need to work on 2 weekends per year at release time)
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Implement complex functionalities to meet business requirements
* Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Integrate ServiceNow platform with other systems
* Participate in the design discussions and architectural decisions
* Maintain and support the existing processes
* Manage the development life cycle and deployments between ServiceNow instances
* Participate in ServiceNow major upgrades
* Produce technical documentation
Must haves
* Minimum 3 years’ experience as IT developer – Strong development skills to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other internal systems using tools, technologies, and protocols such as MID Server, REST, ODBC, LDAP, SOAP, etc.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience with ServiceNow - excellent technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, including experience with at least three ServiceNow modules, especially ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, SecOps, CSM and SAM.
* Strong knowledge of ServiceNow back-end capabilities, including web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
* In depth knowledge of Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI policies, Validation Scripts and Background Scripts in ServiceNow.
* Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle including business requirements analysis, design, testing and deployment.
