We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Tax Manager (STM) to lead and manage tax-related matters for Multitude Group, a publicly listed multinational FinTech with 25 entities across approximately 15 countries.
Reporting directly to the Head of Tax Management, you will be responsible for transfer pricing, tax planning, forecasting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a key business partner, working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to ensure robust tax governance and alignment with regulatory frameworks and corporate strategy.

Responsibilities
Tax Planning and Structuring: Develop and manage global transfer pricing strategies and documentation.
Tax Planning and Structuring: Collaborate with transfer pricing specialists on policy updates and intra-group arrangements.
Tax Planning and Structuring: Provide expertise on tax implications of banking products, lending structures, and strategic initiatives.
Tax Planning and Structuring: Lead tax-efficient structuring for operations, subsidiaries, and branches.
Tax Planning and Structuring: Advise on M&A, strategic partnerships, and cross-border transactions.
Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Oversee preparation, review, and timely submission of direct and indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensure adherence to all regulatory tax obligations.
Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions and calculations in accordance with IFRS.
Tax Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop detailed tax forecasts and monitor legislative changes.
Tax Forecasting and Budgeting: Communicate tax projections and implications to management regularly.
Tax Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Treasury to integrate tax planning into overall financial strategy.
Tax Risk Management and Regulatory Engagement: Manage global tax risks related to lending products, structured finance, and cross-border operations.
Tax Risk Management and Regulatory Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for tax audits, inquiries, and dispute resolution.
Tax Risk Management and Regulatory Engagement: Stay informed on regulatory developments affecting the financial sector (e.g., Basel III/IV, digital taxation, bank levies).
Indirect and Transactional Taxes: Oversee compliance and planning related to financial transaction taxes, VAT/GST, and withholding taxes.
Governance and Controls: Establish and maintain tax control frameworks aligned with corporate governance and transparency standards.
Governance and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting obligations.
Tax Technology: Drive the implementation of tax automation and digital reporting tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with the Head of Tax, Group Finance, Legal, and external consultants.
Stakeholder Management: Prepare regular reports and briefings for senior management and leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related discipline; a Master’s in Taxation is an advantage.
Professional certification (CPA, CTA, Steuerberater, or equivalent) is a strong asset.
Minimum 8 years of experience managing tax within banking or financial services, ideally in a listed multinational company.
Strong understanding of OECD Guidelines, EU tax law (ATAD, DAC, etc.), and international reporting standards.
Proven expertise in transfer pricing, including database experience (Capital IQ, Moody’s, etc.).
Strong understanding of financial product taxation and global banking regulations.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with tax reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other European languages is an asset.
