Job Description
We are seeking a Tax Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in US tax laws, regulations, and principles.
The successful candidate will proactively manage direct and indirect US taxes and actively support the Tax Team with tax accounting with a focus on US GAAP.
This role is within the Finance Team, reporting to the Head of Tax.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage US tax consultants and tax services providers
* Automatize tax processes, leveraging third parties software and AI tools
* Prepare and book the IC / TP computations & year-end adjustments
* Reconcile the tax accounts
* Assist with financial modeling and forecasting of various ad hoc transactions/scenarios
* Improve the existing tax reporting/compliance processes
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree and/or professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years in US corporate taxation, ideally with a mix of experience in a public accounting firm and industry environment.
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Proficiency with mid to large ERP system; Oracle/Netsuite, Google Suite, Avatax a plus
