To develop our consulting offer and support one of our clients, we are looking for a talented Senior IT Project Manager SAP to ensure the execution and completion of two parallel transitions that are already designed and agreed:
• SAP IMS transition (Infrastructure Management Services) from current Managed Service Provider (MSP) to new MSP, on AWS infrastructure.
• SAP AMS transition (Application Management Services) from internal SAP team to the MSP, plus coordination of IT Corporate Applications (non-SAP) transition activities where in scope with the explicit objective of freeing internal capacity for the ERP Transformation.
Missions
* SAP AMS Transition:
Execute the defined AMS transition (internal SAP team → MSP), ensuring stable operations while freeing internal capacity for ERP transformation. Manage risks, issues, and decisions (RAID), escalating when necessary.
* ERP Transformation Delivery & Operational Readiness:
Act as daily interface between Business PM, S/4HANA System Integrators, and internal SAP team, aligning priorities and decisions. Translate RFQ scope and timeline into integrated plans, manage dependencies, and ensure phase-gate and deliverable readiness. Coordinate operational readiness and BAU handover, including knowledge transfer and approvals. Orchestrate cutover and post-go-live activities (parallel runs, dual interfaces, year-end support).
* SAP IMS Transition:
Execute the defined IMS transition plan, meeting milestones, work packages, and acceptance criteria. Manage RAID and escalate issues as needed.
* Governance & Reporting:
Apply IT project management framework (SteerCo, phase-gates, integrated planning, change control), track project budget and external effort, and report to the program management office.
* Tools & Execution Tracking:
Use Jira for execution tracking, Confluence for documentation and artifacts, and PPM tools for reporting. Ensure delivery accountability across all parties (internal teams, MSPs, and supporting vendors).
Profile
* Engineering or IT degree (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years in IT project management, including hands-on execution (work package control, RAID, cutover readiness, acceptance evidence).
* Proven experience in
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
greenfield implementations, leading key phases: Fit-to-Standard workshops, SAP Activate governance, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), data migration, cutover, and Hypercare.
* Experience managing
MSP transitions
for SAP and corporate IT applications.
* Strong knowledge of SAP ECC landscapes, S/4HANA operability (integrations, access, release management, ITSM), and stakeholder management.
* Proficient in
Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and PPM tools
.
* Energy/trading industry experience is a plus.
