As a research professional, you will participate in a project focused on designing multi-objective controllers to optimize the efficiency, reliability, and lifespan of electric vehicles. Responsibilities
* Develop an optimal system layout for facilitating decentralized control and optimal operation of a network of power converters with generators, storage, and loads.
* Create a switched systems model of a reconfigurable grid and design adaptive controllers.
* Write scientific papers and present research findings at conferences.
* Collaborate with other researchers within the project network.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering, with a specialization in control systems or optimization, complemented by a strong mathematical foundation.
* Proven research experience, evidenced by a publication record in reputable conferences and/or journals.
* Practical experience in electromobility or power conversion is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with proficiency in German being advantageous.
