Experis is the global leader in professional resourcing and project-based workforce solutions. For our client a global pharmaceutical based in Baar (Zug) we are looking for a Logistics Specialist.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Manage distribution and logistics activities.
* Strong operational foundation in at least one area of D&L, with the ability to operate across all distribution and logistics operations, manage and take responsibility for the operational delivery of complex international shipments, replenishments, order to cash process for different distribution models.
* Work closely with global supply chain and PO&T functions to ensure logistics execution. Manage FG shipments, invoicing, shipping deviations and sales & inventory reporting and regular issues resolution meetings with cross functional stakeholders (Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Commercial, Finance, S&OP, Packaging Engineering).
* Routinely identify and communicate any shipment risks to management, support recommendations and implementation of corrective actions to minimize supply risks and work within the defined quality and compliance framework (e.g. SOX, GMP & GDP).
* Monitor inventory levels and changing supply chain dynamics to anticipate and plan logistics activities, understand internal and external business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish own work.
* Analyze cross functional and logistics processes and identify/implement solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain. Goal: ensure desired customer service levels met and continuous product supply.
* Strong understanding of all distribution and logistics activities, and can provide introductory training in all D&L functions.
Education and Experience
* Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a Logistics role with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience within an international and regulated environment is required.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills; excellent written and verbal communicator with ability to articulate recommendations and key decision points to senior management.
* Demonstrated experience reducing complex subjects to key points. Ability to work in fast paced environments and great organizational skills to effectively balance a broad range of projects and tasks in parallel.
* Exceptional team player (ability to direct and participate in cross functional and management teams). Ability to develop a strong network across the company.
* Project Management experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Experience with Supply Chain tools, preferably: Oracle, Hyperion, PowerBI, TrackWise, SAP.
